Thanks to Lorraine Ward who has designed and created the Toddington Neighbourhood Christmas Tree as part of the Friends of Toddington Church Christmas Tree Festival. Lorraine has created various decorations that reflect the themes of the Neighbourhood Plan and some of the feedback we have received so far.
Please come along and look at the tree, together with many others created by village groups such as the Royal British Legion, Library, U3A, Singing Café, church groups, Scouts, Brownies, St George’s School, Parkfield’s school, Toddington Magazine and many more! The tree festival event raises money for the Friends of Toddington Church, which is a charity whose aim is to maintain and improve the church building.
The trees are on display in our St George of England parish church on Sat 13th Dec from 11:00 to 17:00 and on Sunday 14th Dec from 13:00 to 17:00. On the Sunday after 5pm there will be carol singing in trees to get you in the festive sprit. More details including photos of last years trees in the Village Magazine (page 40 & 41).
I should note that Lorraine had some help from Steve Killinger putting the tree together!
Merry Christmas!
