Supports Sustainable Growth
Encourages development that meets local needs while protecting valued spaces and heritage
A Neighbourhood Plan is a powerful tool that gives our community a real voice in shaping the future of Toddington. It allows us – the residents, local groups and businesses – the ability to influence how our village develops over the coming years, from the types of homes built to the protection of green spaces and the character of our streets.
Unlike general consultations, a Neighbourhood Plan is a formal part of the planning system. Once adopted, it carries legal weight and must be considered in planning decisions alongside the local and national policies. This means it can directly affect what gets built, where and how.
See CBC Neighbourhood Plan pages for more background and links to existing adopted/completed Neighbourhood Plans.
The project timelines are set out on the Project Timeline page. If you would like to be involved, then please contact us.
