Members of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group and working groups met with our local MP, Blake Stephenson, on 18 February to discuss the proposed Neighbourhood Plan for Toddington.
We were pleased to receive confirmation that Blake Stephenson supports the development and implementation of a Neighbourhood Plan for the village.
Our discussions also covered key concerns raised by residents, including over development in Toddington and neighbouring areas, the increasing pressure this places in the local community, and the lack of investment in essential infrastructure such as sewage treatment.
Traffic was another important topic, with particular focus on the potential introduction of a 20mph speed limit throughout the village to improve safety and quality of life.
