The Central Beds consultation is on-line, but Toddington Parish Council and the Toddington Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group held a joint meeting with parishioners to ensure the community expresses it views. There were two presentations on Wednesday 29th July in the Wilkinson Hall. The following documents are from these sessions:
- main slide presentation
- second slide presentation
- Guide to Resident Responses – highlighting aspects to comment upon in response
At the sessions, there was a request to have some face-to-face sessions to guide folk through responding. These have been scheduled for:
- Saturday 1st Aug 11:30 to 12:30 at the Wilkinson Hall, beside the church
- Saturday 8th Aug 11:30 to 12:30 at the Wilkinson Hall, beside the church

Over the last year that the Neighbourhood Steering Group has been seeking views, the most clear feedback from the community is to limit future development. It is not expected that all the submitted sites across Central Beds would be agreed, but we need to make our views known in this consultation. The CBC Local Plan takes precedence over the Toddington Neighbourhood Plan, it is therefore important that as many parishioners are possible make their views directly to Central Bedfordshire via the Central Beds consultation by 17 August 2026.
